Not so Random thots from John David Ware, Founder and Director, 168 Film Project

Eagle's Wings

Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." (KJV)

This week's verse is a favorite for me and for our country (our national bird is the Bald Eagle). Look at this video and notice the grace and ease with which the eagle soars. Click

Could the verse mean that we are not meant to struggle always? Yes, the eagle works hard from a standstill to get aloft on the currents, but if we wait for the updraft, then the struggle should be infinitely more tolerable. Right?
